Laboratory diagnostics

Accurate. Routine. Providing.

In order to accurately identify and assess rheumatism and immunological diseases, blood testing is an important piece of the puzzle.
The HLA system provides information about tissue characteristics that are essential for the transplantation of bone marrow as well as organs.

The Immunological Laboratory of the Department of Medicine 3 is used for the precise diagnosis of immunological, allergological, infectiological and rheumatological diseases. The main focus is on the diagnosis of antibodies and the determination of cytokines, as well as inflammatory parameters.

Since 1999 our laboratory has been accredited according to the standards of the European Federation for Immunogenetics (EFI).
